The Front Street project evolved beyond a simple garden renovation to embrace the full potential of the exterior space surrounding this stunning and historic Victorian home. Thoughtfulness and minimalism guided the stonework, featuring a gunite plunge pool with native stone coping, a lounge patio, and pathways of native fractured stone. Classic New England garden elements like hydrangeas, boxwood, and climbing roses nod to the home's vernacular, while grasses and perennials ensure multi-seasonal beauty and pollinator support. The organically shaped beds, a kitchen garden, and a selection of non-treated cedar elements naturally invite visitors to meander throughout the landscape.
